We are quickly approaching April 15thwhich is the deadline for those of you who will choose to file an extension. An extension would extend the due date to file your return to Oct 15 for Form 1040 tax returns.
In order for us to file your return by the April 15th deadline, WITHOUT an extension, please provide your tax documents to us before April 1st.
In any case, we would be happy to help you file an extension or if you choose to file an extension yourself (http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc304.html) we would gladly help you file your return by the October 15th deadline.
Just as a reminder: An extension to file is NOT an extension to pay. An estimated tax payment needs to be sent in right away if you owe.
