David B. Tuck earned his Bachelor of Accounting degree from Boise State University (BSU). At BSU David was a member of Beta Alpha Psi and was elected Senator of the Student Body Government for the College of Business. While completing his degree David, a.k.a. “Salsa”, worked as a licensed white water river guide on the Snake, Salmon and Payette rivers in Idaho.  David also worked for the State of Idaho Tax Commission as an intern Tax Auditor.

After graduation, David went to work as a controller in a small manufacturing company. From there he went to work for the Internal Revenue Service as an income tax auditor in the Small Business/Self Employed auditing group where he gained six valuable years of experience.

While working for the IRS as an auditor, David witnessed a countless number of people who were "leaving money on the table".  Every day he encountered people missing valuable deductions and credits they were legally entitled to. This created a burden in David to help people eliminate these costly mistakes and missed opportunities.

David started Anvil Tax Inc, a Tax Planning and Income Tax Preparation Company, in 2007 after seeing a great need for strategic tax planning prior to annual tax return preparation.  The years of experience working for the IRS left David with a great desire to help people save tax dollars which could be re-invested into their families, businesses, and communities.
