David B. Tuck earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Boise State University in 2001. While earning his degree, David was a member of Beta Alpha Psi and was student elected senator in the College of Business and Economics.
After graduation in 2001, David went to work as a full charge bookkeeping accountant for Boise Molding and Lumber Company. This afforded him an opportunity to replace the company's old DOS accounting system with QuickBooks Pro and provide payroll for twenty employees among other things.
David then worked for the State of Idaho as an intern Tax Auditor. From there David moved to Portland, Oregon when presented with the opportunity to work for the Internal Revenue Service as an income tax auditor. The Small Business/Self Employed auditing group was were David gained valuable experience for the next six years.
While working for the IRS as an auditor, David witnessed a countless number of people who were "leaving money on the table". It seemed as though every day there were people missing valuable deductions that they were completely eligible for.
David started Anvil Tax Inc. in 2007 an Income Tax Preparation Company after seeing such a great need for strategic tax planning prior to the inevitable tax return preparation. The prior years of experience left David with a great desire to help people save tax dollars which could be re-invested into their families and businesses.
